I was born in Cannes in 1998, which might have subtly influenced my career choice (just kidding, of course). However, my creative journey actually began in Moscow at GITR (The Institute of Film and Television). My mentors were, and still are, Pyotr Leonidovich Dukhovskoy and Oleg Yuryevich Lukichev. Two legendary but completely different Directors of Photography, through whose lenses I learned to look at the world differently, to love cinema, and to create the real thing. The kind of cinema that fills you with genuine emotions, making you truly empathize and live the story alongside the characters—feeling their joy and sadness, fear and pain, hatred and great love. The kind of cinema where, during the final credits, the audience remains glued to their seats, trying to process what they just saw, and once they do, they break into applause.
And now, this is my goal, or rather, my calling! Of course, filmmaking is a team effort, but it is the dedication of each individual in that team that determines whether a film becomes truly Great. I have been fortunate enough to work with powerful teams of professionals in Russia, Europe, the USA, and Thailand. The films we made have been recognized by numerous festivals worldwide, including “Mayak” and “LEFF” (Russia), “Lucania Film Festival” and “Francigena Film Festival” (Italy), and “goEast Festival” (Germany).
I am fluent in English and Spanish. I know exactly how the production process and sets operate in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. I operate Drones, Cranes, Steadicam, and Trinity. I am well-versed in many adjacent specialties within both the camera and lighting departments. I am also proficient in various post-production software (Final Cut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
And above all, I just absolutely love cinema! Let’s shoot together!
